Newman’s Own To Bring Back a Fan-Favorite Sauce

When Newman’s Own Alfredo Pasta Sauce completely vanished from shelves at the end of 2023, fans took to social media to request its return. Now the company known for donating 100% of its profits to charity has finally confirmed that the fan favorite sauce has officially returned to shelves… along with a new pizza variety that looks irresistible.

The newly-rereleased sauce will feature the same combination of heavy cream, spices and blend of Parmesan and Romano cheeses as the original, so you can enjoy the comforting flavor you know and love. And since the company says the recipe contains no artificial flavors, consumers can savor the rich taste and texture even if they’re trying to eat less processed foods.

Like the traditional Italian version that’s made using only butter and cheese, the American-style, cream-based Alfredo sauce is typically paired with ribbon-shaped fettuccine noodles. But, it also tastes great with an assortment of pasta shapes—as well as with veggies—and it can even be used in casseroles and as a base to create white pizzas. The Thin & Crispy Bourbon BBQ Recipe Chicken Pizza puts a smoky twist on the increasingly popular pie with its sweet, smoky and tangy bourbon barbecue sauce that is spread over a thin and crispy crust made with whole wheat flour. It’s then topped with chunks of cooked, seasoned chicken breast, onion and a mix of whole-milk mozzarella and white cheddar cheese, plus a sprinkling of dried cilantro to create the perfect bite.

Because it requires only 10 to 12 minutes to heat and eat, the new pizza is ideal for quick weekday lunches and dinners, yet is impressive enough to serve to guests.
