When it comes to juggling business, beauty and a jam-packed tour schedule, Grammy-nominated singer and rapper Saweetie doesn’t miss a beat. We caught up with her to talk about her latest partnership with Corona Premier’s Dink N’ Drink campaign just in time for pickleball season, including her love for a cocktail featuring pickle juice and the light lager. Plus, she tells EatingWell her favorite high-protein snack, the tea she swears by and more in the below Q&A.
How do you like to stay hydrated during a show?
Watermelon juice! It’s my go-to because it’s hydrating and naturally sweet. I’ll freeze it a little bit so it turns into a slushy—super refreshing and it gives me that boost I need without feeling heavy.
What’s your go-to high-protein snack on tour?
Cashews, all day. But they’ve got to be raw and unsalted. I used to struggle to find snacks that felt good and didn’t weigh me down, so when I found cashews, it was game over. I keep a little stash with me on the road.
Tell me about this partnership with Corona Premier Dink’n’Drink?
You know I love my brand deals—I’ve always been about the business. So when Corona Premier called, I was all in. Corona is such a legacy brand, and I’ve always been a fan of their vibe. This drink, the Corona Pickle Premier, is actually so good. It’s got pickle juice, ginger beer, a splash of lime, and then topped off with Corona Premier. It’s refreshing, a little tangy and honestly? Might be the drink of the summer. Perfect for post-game hangs or just vibing with your girls.
To make the Corona Premier cocktail, start by adding 4 ounces of ginger beer, 3 ounces of pickle juice, and 1/2 ounce of lime juice into a Collins glass. Give it a quick stir, then top it off with 6 ounces of Corona Premier. Garnish with a pickle spear, a wedge of lime, and a sprig of dill for a zesty, savory twist.

How do you like to stay active in your personal life?
Honestly? I love stairs. Give me a good outdoor stair set and some headphones, and I’m locked in. It’s my little moment of peace, even if I’m sweating. I’ll take the stairs over the elevator any day, even in heels. It’s a quick workout built into the day.
Do you have a favorite takeout order when you’re traveling?
It depends on my mood, but I’m always down for a creamy seafood Alfredo. It has to be extra saucy though—like extra creamy. It’s comforting, filling and just hits the spot after a long day.
How do you spend your day off?
First of all, I’m sleeping in—no alarms, nothing before 11 a.m. And I made a promise to myself: no coffee on my days off, even though I love it. So instead, I’ll make tea, cook a little breakfast, and then binge something good. Lately, I’ve been switching between Bridgerton and Game of Thrones.
What’s your favorite tea?
Hibiscus tea, for sure. It’s naturally sweet and has so many benefits. It’s good for your skin and helps you unwind. I’ll drink it hot or iced, depending on my mood.
Any unconventional food combos you’re into?
Ramen with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. I’ll crush the Cheetos and sprinkle them on top. It adds a crunchy, spicy kick. It sounds wild, but don’t knock it till you try it.
What’s a meal that keeps you going when you’re super busy?
Definitely a salad from Sweetgreen. It’s quick, easy and I can grab it and go. I love that I can build it how I want and get everything I need to power through the day without slowing down.
