Trader Joe’s just announced a recall on a popular ready-to-eat salad sold in 18 states, according to the company’s website. This is due to an undeclared allergen in the product.

The salad affected is the Trader Joe’s Sesame Miso Salad with Salmon with use-by dates of April 28 and April 29, 2025. The salads may contain milk, which is not listed on the ingredients in the salad, because they were “mistakenly packaged with a sealed packet of parmesan cheese crumbles instead of a packet of crispy onions.”

While only 500 units of the product is recalled, they were sold at Trader Joe’s locations in the following states: Alabama, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
