What to Buy on Prime Day, According to a Shopping Editor

It’s hard to decide what to buy on Prime Day. The first items I tend to look into are longstanding wishlist picks or everyday staples that I’m less than excited to buy at full price. I love it when there’s a seasonal spin to it—Amazon Prime Day deals are usually stuffed with summer goodies, like blenders for smoothies, outdoor running shoes, thermometers for grilling and more. 

As an editor who’s been monitoring these deals for over two years, I went ahead and gathered some of my favorite discounts to grab today. Most of these are on my shopping agenda, and now that they’re finally on sale, some may finally end up in my cart. No matter what I choose to buy, I know I need to move quickly!
