Target Just Recalled 200,000 Blender Bottles Nationwide

A recall was just announced on approximately 199,000 blender bottles, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. This is due to a laceration hazard.

The Vivitar Blender Bottles impacted by this recall were sold at Target locations nationwide and on Target’s website from December 2024 through January 2025. The white plastic bottles contain the following printed information on a sticker underneath the base: “VIVITAR,” “Description: Blender Bottle,” “ITEM: ES15-BB-TA” and “MID #5220824.” The code “MID #5220824” is also stamped on the bottle itself.

These blender bottles are being recalled because, according to the CPSC, “the blender’s blades can continue to operate when the bottle is not attached to the blender, posing a laceration hazard.” While there was one consumer complaint related to this malfunction, no injuries have been reported. Seek medical attention if you have experienced any injury after using this faulty product.

Check your blender bottle for this recalled information, and if it matches, contact Sakar for a full refund. You can do this by calling 1-800-592-9541, emailing at support@sakar.com or visiting the company’s recall page for more information.
